Executive Vice President, Molecular Solutions
Kathleen Weber has been the Senior Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Products since November 2012. Prior to joining OraSure, Ms. Weber held several senior leadership positions in marketing, sales and Rx-to-OTC switch at Pfizer Consumer HealthCare, Johnson and Johnson Consumer HealthCare and Schering–Plough Healthcare. She has managed categories ranging from pain management, respiratory care, feminine hygiene, skin care and oral care, leading iconic brands such as Listerine, Claritin, Neosporin, Dr. Scholl’s, Stayfree and Carefree. Ms. Weber began her career in the financial services industry and held various positions in U.S. and global marketing and operations at Chase Manhattan Bank. Ms. Weber received a B.S. degree in business administration from Georgetown University and earned an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Vice President, Innovation & Technology
Dr. Iwasiow joined DNA Genotek in 2006 as a Research & Development Scientist; he has contributed significantly to the company's patent portfolio in numerous areas including nucleic acid stabilization methods and physical sample collection devices. In 2008 he took on the responsibility of managing the product development team and has advanced his career through Director level roles resulting in his appointment to the Vice President of Research and Development. Under Dr. Iwasiow’s leadership, the Research and Development team contributed to successful 510(k) clearances of the Oragene•Dx collection device, the first non-invasive DNA collection device cleared by the FDA, and he and his team have developed and delivered new chemistries, products and service offerings throughout his years with the company. Prior to joining DNA Genotek, Dr. Iwasiow completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Research Council of Canada in the areas of neurogenesis/neuroprotection and he holds a Ph.D. degree in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Ottawa.
Senior Director, Molecular Products
Mr. Rabuka is the Senior Director, Molecular Products for DNA Genotek Inc. Mr. Rabuka joined DNA Genotek in 2008 as the product manager for the Oragene product and successfully expanded the product into a complete family of solutions for global genomic research and clinical use. He was responsible for the launch of the company's first FDA 510(k) cleared product in 2011 as well as multiple new products designed to address evolving global market opportunities. In 2014, he assumed the role of Senior Sales Manager at DNA Genotek where he established a global customer base for the company's genomic services and microbiome offerings. Prior to joining DNA Genotek, Mr. Rabuka had over 10 years of product management experience in companies such as VisualSonics, Agfa Healthcare, Mitra and Maplesoft Inc. where he was responsible for each company's flagship product. Mr. Rabuka earned his Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics with Honours from the University of Waterloo in 1997.
Greg Guy, P. Eng
Greg Guy joined DNA Genotek in February 2015 as the Director of Sales for the US Commercial market where he helped to forge and solidify relationships with our largest key genomics clients. In his current role, Greg is responsible for Genomics’ sales globally, and also oversees Sales Operations. Prior to joining DNA Genotek, Mr. Guy had over 20 years of experience in senior leadership positions in business development and sales. He began his career in telecommunications and following that held various sales positions in the high technology and systems integration sectors. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, ON, Canada.
Senior Director of Sales, Microbiome
Todd Czerwinski has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and operations in biotechnology and medical devices. Todd directs the microbiome sales team overseeing both the kits and services aspects of the business. Prior to joining DNA Genotek/Diversigen, Mr. Czerwinski held leadership positions at Qiagen and MO BIO Laboratories, and also spent nine years at the bench doing cancer research and medical device operations. Mr. Czerwinski has a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Developmental Biology from Michigan State University.
Director of Supply Chain
Darlene Jahn has been the Director of Supply Chain at DNA Genotek since March 2019. Ms. Jahn has over 30 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, holding senior leadership positions in telecommunications and contract manufacturing at Mitel Networks, before she moved into the healthcare industry leading the Abbott Point of Care Supply Chain Management operations in Ottawa. Just prior to joining DNAG Ms Jahn held a strategic purchasing role at Canadian Blood Services. She has managed many facets of the Supply Chain process including Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, Warehouse and Facilities Management. Darlene was a member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada for over 10 years and received her education in Supply Chain Management and Business Administration through the APICS Ottawa Chapter and Algonquin College.
Shauna White joined DNA Genotek in March of 2009. Prior to joining DNA Genotek, Ms. White spent six years at Entrust Technologies, most recently as Director of Marketing for the global software security company. In that role, she had general marketing responsibility for the organization, helping it grow from a start up, through IPO stage and to a $100 million dollar company. Prior to that, she held a variety of senior marketing management roles at Corel Corporation where she was also instrumental in its early growth from a start up to a global graphics software company. Ms. White earned an M.B.A. from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from St. Francis Xavier University.
Director, Human Resources
Since joining DNA Genotek in 2017, Katheryn Viau has enabled a high performance culture to deliver on the organization’s strategy. She leads HR for the Molecular Solutions business unit, which spans locations globally. She is a strategic business partner who leads the development and implementation of talent management strategies. Prior to joining DNA Genotek, Ms. Viau worked in the professional services industry for a decade, including at Deloitte and KPMG, where she gained experience in all cross-functional HR areas. She earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from McGill University and a Human Resources Management Certificate from Seneca College. She holds the Certified Human Resources Leader certification. She is actively involved with the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization’s mentorship programs.
