The main problem for our laboratory has always been DNA collection for out of hospital patients. We were looking for a simple way to collect samples from family members living far away from our center. We have always received blood samples with a lot of problems with the package, the authorizations and the problems were increased when the samples were send from out of Italy patients. With the Oragene•DNA DNA collection kit we found the best solution to our problems. Furthermore, the protocol is very simple to follow and the time for extraction and amplification is greatly reduced with a very good result on DNA amount and quality.
