Oragene®•RNA Self-Collection Kit User Instructions

Put a small amount of table sugar in the palm of your hand and then touch the top of your tongue to the sugar. The sugar will help you make saliva. Keep the saliva and sugar in your mouth for 10-15 seconds without swallowing.

Do NOT swallow. As saliva gathers in your mouth, spit it into the Oragene container.

Continue spitting until the amount of liquid saliva (not bubbles) reaches the level shown above.

As soon as you finish spitting, carefully cap the container and tighten firmly. A liquid will be released from the cap. Shake the closed container hard for at least 10 seconds to mix your saliva with the liquid from the cap. Recycle outer packaging.
