BioRep S.r.l. is an independent "SERVICE PROVIDER" organization offering biorepository services to public and private research institutes, to the highest standards of quality and safety. In addition to the storage service, BioRep provides Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Media preparation services developed in ISO9001/2000 certified laboratories (i.e. establishment, maintenance and distribution of cell line cultures as well as DNA derived from these cultures; nucleic acids isolation and distribution, genotyping, sequencing; mycoplasma detection in animal cell cultures; etc) .
Applications:
- DNA extractions from whole blood (performed manually using the salting-out method).

We utilize our proprietary DNA extraction reagents, DNAQuick for DNA extraction from most of the sources. We also utilize Qiagen column protocols for some sample types. For RNA extractions we typically use Tri-reagent method and some times utilize Qiagen column based protocols. We have Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) for all the different applications.
